FAQs

How do I get money from my account?
Just email us and ask! When you email us, we’ll follow up with additional instructions for securely transferring funds between accounts. Sometimes it may take a few days to send cash to you if we need to raise cash in your account by placing trades. So, please plan ahead if you anticipate needing cash.

We most often use an EFT connection to send funds to clients. EFT stands for “Electronic Fund Transfer.” When we set up new accounts, we typically ask you to provide your checking account number and routing number to create this connection between your account here and your checking account. This gives us a fast, free way to send money out to you (or add funds to your account here, if you wish). We can only use the connection at your request. If you prefer to not create an EFT connection, then we can send you funds by wire for a fee or mail you a paper check.

How do I send money to my account?
Again, email us and let us know how much you would like to transfer in. When you email us, we’ll follow up with additional instructions for securely transferring funds between accounts. We can use the EFT connection to your checking account to transfer funds to your account with us. If the money you would like to transfer is currently held in another investment account, please securely send us a copy of the account statement and we can do a full or partial account transfer request.

Can I trade on my own?
No, you cannot trade on your own. Trades in accounts held with us will need to be submitted by your advisor.

What will my ROI be?
Performance cannot be guaranteed; however, we aim to provide best-in-class ESG and SRI investment options that provide competitive market returns.

How do ESG/SRI investments compare to conventional portfolio management?
We use a philosophical approach to portfolio management that we call “whole portfolio activation.” We aim to use SRI/ESG investments in all asset classes in the portfolios that we build. Our model portfolios can be tailored to an individual client’s values or preferences.

Do you have accounting services?
Not currently. If you are interested in us considering adding this service or another service to our line-up, please let us know.

Can you help me make a will or estate plan?
No, we are not attorneys and we cannot draft legal documents for you. We do have a large network of clients and advisors around the country. If you’d like us to look for a referral for you, please let us know. Often, your friends in your area can provide you with the best referral.
